With no passing traffic, the beauty and tranquillity of the setting are intoxicating - so much so that guests are often reluctant to tear themselves away to the posh restaurant some 300 metres away in the village. Instead they tend to dine in house where the attentive owners offer a limited choice of good wholesome cuisine, enhanced by fresh herbs gathered from the family's potager.
The accommodation is spacious and split between a few little houses which blend well with the surroundings. It's best to choose the deluxe bedrooms but all have gorgeous bathrooms - a testament to the very latest in contemporary chic.
